NOAH, the DOVE – and his adopted Bunny Rabbits.

Something to WARM your heart – on these cold winter days.
”Kindness is a language the Blind can see, the Deaf can hear, and Animals can naturally sense… “

So Beautiful…

Noah-1

These little bunny rabbits, about 6 days old, were attacked by a dog and orphaned.
Two out of the litter of five did not survive and these three surviving ones were not doing very well.

Noah-2

Noah is a non-releasable, one-legged homing pigeon/Rock dove, that is in the rehab centre.
Noah kept going over to the bunny cage and looking in, even sleeping in front of the door of the cage.

Noah-3

Then suddenly, only two bunnies could be seen/found in the cage.
When Noah moved a bit from the front of the cage, to everyone’s surprise there was the tiny third bunny, tucked under Noah’s wing…sound asleep!
The little bunny rabbit had crawled through the cage, no doubt preferring a featherbed to snuggling up with it’s litter mates!

Noah-4

Now they are all together and all doing just GREAT.
When the bunnies scoot underneath Noah’s feathers he carefully extends his wings to surround them and they snuggle in.
When one of them moves and starts sticking out, Noah gently pushes them back under his wings with his beak!

Nature continues to amaze us…Isn’t this just AMAZING – and so good for the heart to see.
